Colorado- Ron continued painting with watercolors and focused on Colorado’s mining towns and architecture. During this period, he also mixed his pen and ink drawings with watercolors which were popular in regional art shows. Then artist friends encouraged him to paint en plein aire with them. Ron continues to paint on location and more importantly Ron returned to painting with Oils. Ron had several solo shows in Denver Galleries and won numerous awards in Colorado regional juried shows.
